2nd "MUST" WORKSHOP
Self-Healing Coatings: Effectivenes and Implementation
28 June 2010, Noordwijk, The Netherlands
The MUST project (NMP3-LA-2008-214261) is organizing the 2nd external workshop devoted to "Self-healing coatings - effectiveness and implementation" on 28 June 2010, at Hotel van Oranje in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The workshop aims at providing an international forum for researchers, industry stakeholders, engineers and students to promote scientific exchange and to disseminate knowledge and experiences of the most recent advances in the topic of self-healing coatings. This workshop brings the best European experts in self-healing coatings together in a more informal setting. The attendance is free of charge. Moreover, you have the opportunity to combine it with the 6th International Conference on Coatings Science (COSI) that takes place from 28 June - 2 July, at the same Hotel, and to enjoy a fruitful week devoted to recent developments in coatings science.
Confirmed Talks:
Oral:
- Needs, perspectives and challenges for application of self-healing protective coatings in aerospace industry, by Theo Hack, EADS IW, Munich, Germany.
- Self-healing protective coatings: nightmare or reality? Promises versus limitations, by Mikhail Zheludkevich, University of Aveiro, Portugal.
- Fundamental Understanding of Self-Repair Processes: Aspects of De-Adhesion and Corrosion, by G. Grundmeier, University of Paderborn, Germany.
